The International Baccalaureate Program anchors the core of the learning experience at C.B. Jennings International Elementary Magnet School and encourages students to become active, self-driven learners that are culturally open and aware of the opportunities and challenges in a diverse and changing world.
Visual and Performing Arts
The Visual and Performing Arts Magnet Pathway offers a comprehensive, integrated educational program in and through the arts. Rigorous academics are combined with an arts curriculum that includes vocal and instrumental music, visual art, dance, theatre, media arts, and arts integration.
Stem
The specific area of concentration and theme will be Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) aligned with inquiry-based instruction. The inquiry-based instruction will prepare students to ask questions, conduct investigations and communicate their findings to the community around them.

Our Summer School Program runs for 5 weeks from July 8th through August 8th, Monday-Thursday (there is no school on Fridays).
For students who were in grades K-4 for the 2023-24 school year the location is C.B. Jennings International Elementary Magnet School at 50 Mercer Street, New London CT from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Transportation will be provided
